All four units are owned by Deucalion Aviation’s shareholder SVPGlobal and previously operated by LATAM. Lufthansa announced the purchase of these four aircraft in May 2023. The first three units (MSN035, 045 and 363) were delivered to Lufthansa in October and November 2023 with the final aircraft delivered in January 2024.
Jon Skirrow, co-chief executive officer and chief operating officer, said:
We are delighted to conclude this significant transaction with Lufthansa, and to support the growth of the airline, as it continues to build its fleet of new technology, fuel efficient widebodies. Over the last few months, both the Lufthansa and Deucalion teams have jointly worked tirelessly to structure and execute on this complex transaction.
